Playstation Mobile App
2015 - 2017

POSITION ON TEAM
Lead/Senior Product Designer | Conceptual | Visual | Interaction Design

As a Product Designer for Playstation mobile app, my key role was to shape and translate the future of the world's largest game and content distribution platform into a mobile experience. I collaborated directly with cross-functional teams, UX researchers, engineers, and marketing department to ideate and communicate
new design experiences that both delight users
meet stakeholder expectations.

MY PART (within the redesign)

• Managed check-ins with San Francisco and Tokyo
design teams including maintaining visual design
consistency within the Messages and Communities apps.
• Inspired, collaborated, and influenced cross-functional
teams through design critiques to deliver a world-class
customer experience
• Created all aspects of design deliverables such as
personas, flows, scenarios, wireframes and hi-fidelity
designs to communicate design thinking and solutions
• Input, as required, on new functionality / business
requirements and R&D
• Provide creative direction, support and assistance to
other departments and agencies

Design Process  |  Outline

01 Map  |  Understand the problem
02 Sketch  |  Sketch solutions
03 Decide  |  Choose a direction and storyboard
04 Prototype  |  Design mocks and create a prototype
05 Test  |  Get feedback on your prototype

(My design process is based off Google Ventures design process)

OBJECTIVE
I partnered with Project Manager & Director of Mobile to identify the following: customer needs, users behaviors, facts, needs & goals while making assumptions and listing out key actions that users may want to utilize in their experience.

Most importantly, it was my job to understand:

 - What problem(s) am I trying to solve?
 - Who am I trying to solve it for?
 - Why is there a need to solve the problem?

RESULTS of 04 Prototype

Introducing a new leg-by-leg experience, we also wanted a refreshed UI which meant, all screens within the experience needed to be improved upon which intensified the work load.  Here are a few examples of presenting design solutions to the team.
